I have a few horses at home from young inexperienced horses to 3* horses and I am looking forward to getting the season underway and hopefully start getting some results in the bag. I have been lucky enough to get the chance to ride and re-train the lovely mare that is Melo Pearl.
About Pearl she has just turned 4 years old and starting to get a taste for the sport. I have not pushed her too hard as she needs to develop physically as well as mentally and like every classy, attractive women she is not always so easy. But she is on the right track, she is doing a few jumps now and starting to get the technique, she is becoming bold and brave and getting the hang of transitions.
My plan with her would be to start with some BE 90s later in the season and maybe do some Burghley young event horse classes.
