Luke Morris

AGMA is looking forward to working with new sponsored jockey Luke Morris. We can’t wait to support such a successful jockey and see how Luke will promote the AGMA brand.

Luke is one of the most hardworking jockeys in Europe, and one of the most successful in the UK, who we are extremely proud of sponsoring. He has completed an impressive number of races and has some incredible statistics: 

  • 1,916 winners
  • 6 Group 1 winners 
  • 6 All Weather Champion Jockey Royal Ascot winners 
  • 11 Consecutive Centuries of Winners 
 
Luke grew up in Oxford, with good jockey breeding: he is nephew to Jason Tate and grandson to Joe Tate. This, combined with his passion for horses from a young age, means there was little doubt about his future profession.

 

Beginning his career as an apprentice to Michael Bell, then becoming 1st jockey for Sir Mark Prescott, Luke is now a talented and successful jockey in his own right. He’s been steadily on the rise since his first victory in 2005.

Here’s what Luke had to say:

“I’m looking forward to working alongside AGMA for the 2022 Season ahead. I’m one of the busiest jockeys and have ridden over 100 winners a year for the past 11 seasons, including many top successes aboard the likes of Alpinista and Marsha at the major racing festivals.

I’m sure the strong social media coverage and with all racing being broadcasted on ITV, Sky Sports and Racing TV can really add to AGMA’s Stablemate brand. 

With all the television exposure at high profile racing festivals, I’m looking forward to being able to showcase AGMA’s brand to much more of the general public as well as the racing community who I feel would most definitely make use of the Stablemate product range. 

Hopefully we can share success on the track and have a safe and exciting 2022!”

Background

Sara Malpass: Dressage Rider

Stablemate by AGMA is very excited to sponsor dressage rider Sara Malpass. We can’t wait to see Sara out and about promoting the Stablemate brand.

Sara is a 28-year-old dressage rider from Hampshire. Starting off by working on dressage yards, then progressing into freelance grooming, riding and teaching, Sara now has her own yard where she can base herself and take horses and owners in for training.
