The weather is starting to turn and it’s great that National Hunt Racing is taking off and the racing is starting to get busier.

On the 10th I’m off to Hexham to ride Rivabodiva (that is me on her at Perth Oct 2019).  I have a close connection with this mare, she was the first winner of my career at Ayr back in 2017 and I’ve won on her another three times since. She’s a tough mare who loves her jumping and loves heavy ground. I’m hoping Hexham will get some more rain over the next few days and that she runs well on Saturday.

The last month has been quiet for me with rides. Its always difficult coming back from an injury as time moves along without you and you have to find your feet again.

I am still very busy working on my fitness with my personal trainer and I’m very busy riding out 6 days a week.

I’m looking forward to racing on Saturday, let’s hope for a winner.
